Paper Pilot Certificates Expire March 31, 2010
Pilots cannot exercise the privileges of their PAPER pilot certificates after March 31, 2010.
Certificates issued under 14 CFR Part 63 and 65 will expire March 31, 2013. In order to
ensure that we have legible copies of the new certificates in your pilot records files by that
date, we need to receive them here in the Pilot Records Department no later than January
15th, 2010. Please forward to your respective pilot records specialist by that date, or
confirmation that your new certificate has been ordered.

Why not take the train or a coach to somewhere else in England, Scotland or Wales? If you don't want to do that, amoslt everywhere in Europe is a quick and cheap flight from London by EasyJet or other budget airlines (whichbudget.com to look them up) and booking this far ahead, you'll get a great deal.
