I was just wondering if there is a requirement for aircrews in the US to have this type of training.
Our company is providing it to all aircrews, patch doctors as well as dispatchers. I must say that it has made a huge difference in the way we operate on a day-day basis. Understanding the decision making process, crew resources, priorities and mostly how to recognize the path leading to incidents/accidents and giving us the tools/knowledge, enabling us to correct the situation before it's too late is a definite advantage in our line of work, I would go as far to say a life saving knowledge.
